While I was incarcerated I did not share the gospel with many. After my conversion/ rededication ( I found myself in a sexual transgression while inside prison and had a Peter denial of Jesus moment - I had a righteous indignation and anger against myself until I found forgiveness.)
I shared the gospel with someone who had anxiety and addicted to pills. later while in His cell, on his own he called out to Jesus can you help and was worshipping in the spirit all night. He stood up to his 6 foot 7 white supremacist celly with no regard for his own life, with a fearlessness to speak the truth of Jesus.
Personally I don’t believe Satan is more powerful than God, and I question His ability to mimic God and the traits and attributes described in the scriptures for true believers. Love joy peace thankfulness. I understand that the spiritual is beyond the physical, so the things in the physical might be affected and afflicted by the spiritual. At the most basic, feelings, emotions, etc are walking by sight. We are to walk by faith, living according to the spirit of promise
Here's a logic exercise: if something existed before Christ, “false demonic spirits” (my opinion don't say them by name) and they still remain, they are not of Christ. A pagan receiving a “fire spirit” prior to Christ shows it's not the same Spirit as Christ.

So if they take the pagan and “re-branded” and incorporated (something Catholic Church is known for) it's like putting manure in your water and drinking it. It's defiled.

Counterargument - casting out demons means I'm aligned in Jesus household, someone saying “ the power is of the enemy” is to be expected, they attributed Jesus power to Satan = blasphemy. the good power of God attributed to evil darkness of Satan is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit:

Turn from power of Satan to power of God

Problem is: false spirits, false signs and doctrines of demons.
The truth always defeats the lie, the light of Truth always overpowers / overcomes the darkness.

The free children of promise are persecuted by those under “law”, legalism, or performance based bondage:

Does God want people healed?
Paul had an infirmity and he praised God so the power of Christ May rest upon him. Will of God thankful in all things. The testing of our faith is precious to God. Outside of circumstantial praise. See Job. Blessed when you endure and suffer for righteousness sake.
What does the “word of faith”, etc seek, their circumstances changed? Do they humble themselves under the mighty hand of God or do they try to force God to do something. What's their heart? They ask amiss to spend on their desires. What are they worshipping? Valuing? Seeking things below? Or seeking to know the spiritual blessings are in Christ and set our minds on things above…
You will be persecuted: all who desire to live holy Godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, and ...provided we suffer with Him.

In my opinion the Christian Enlightenment comes from the light of Eternity - everlasting life. Everyone was subject to the devil, held in the bondage of fear of death now death is defeated and the light of immortality has been revealed through the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ - that's the joy unspeakable! everything else in the world fades and loses it with its luster compared to the glory in the knowledge of Christ Jesus.
can we also say with Paul we count it all as loss (dung /excrement) that the things highly esteemed among men are an abomination with God and so the forsaking of all to attain God and Eternity is worth it. Jesus says if you don't forsake all if you don't pick up your cross you're not worthy of him and that you have not judged righteously that he is worthy.
Through the divine nature we have the ability to escape the corruption in the world which is lust desire selfishness. a lot of people want to blame God for the problems in the world that are a result of human disobedience, they really are against the devil, the prince of the ruler of the world is judged. in Pride in self seeking, people don't live according to the law of God, the law of love and do not treat each other right lovingly all the time, if they did there wouldn't be offenses correct? So the flesh nature is enmity with God and cannot be subject to the law of God, so God condemned sin in the flesh, to make one offering so that all who go to God through Jesus Christ will be forgiven the sins in the flesh so that they may be the righteousness of God in Christ.

scripture Jesus speaks of the condemnation that men loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil- the light is directly related to the works. They didn't come to the light to see that their works were manifest, wrought, completed in God and the works begin within the heart, the soul of man and that needs to change first - true repentance and returning to God before the forgiveness and the atonement and then after that then the holy spirit’s Truth may indwell and transform the believer.
Spirit is subject to law of God, keeps the commands of God, glorifies the Lord Jesus, (not experiences )

So just using these scriptures, if they love Jesus, confess Him as Lord, hate sin, love holiness, practice righteousness, and have a pure love in the heart, also for the brethren, I am willing to call them a brother. If I see them doing something against God, I'll rebuke, admonish as a brother, desiring their well being.
